Motoko MITO(Violine)

Violinist Motoko Mito was born in Kyoto, Japan. Since her solo debut at the International Mozart Week Festival, Salzburg, she has achieved wide acclaim for performances throughout Europe and Asia. As a member of the Salzburger String Quartet, she has toured Italy, France and Holland. She has made numerous radio and television broadcasts in West Germany and has recorded for the Preiser Label. Ms Mito performs with a number of ensembles including the Camerata Academica, the Mozarteum Orchestra and recently toured Spain as a soloist with the Collegium Musicum Orchestra. She holds degrees from the 'Toho' School of Music and the Mozarteum. Ms. Mito plays a Nicolo Amatti violin(1657)
